Frequently Asked Questions
The answers to common questions.
"Can humans be in the portrait too?"
Absolutely! I love capturing the bond you have with your companion. There is no additional charge.
"How many dogs/horses can I bring?"
As many as you can safely manage. There is no additional charge for extra dogs/horses in any image.
"My dog can't be off leash."
Most all of my clients' pet dogs are photographed on leash and the collar/lead are edited out later. Your dog's safety and emotional wellbeing will always be a priority during our portrait session.
"Where will our session be located?"
I will select a location based on the area you live, what is looking particularly nice at the time, as well as what style you are hoping for with the finished portrait. When we are scheduling your session, our conversation will help guide a location choice.
"If the weather is bad, can we reschedule?"
As an outdoor portrait photographer in Alaska, I come prepared for all weather. However, some weather simply isn't conducive for beautiful portraits, so I am willing to reschedule for the following weather: rainfall of .6 or greater, wind over 60mph, temperature of -30F or below.
"Can you re-edit something in my finished portrait?"
Every portrait is meticulously crafted to professional practice standards. If you want a little something tweaked, there is a $10 additional fee per re-edit.
"What if I want more images?"
Additional images can be added to the Full session package for $25 each.
